Customize Your Community Cloud
Many of Code Zero’s customers implementing Salesforce CPQ for internal sales teams also recognize the value of Salesforce Community Cloud enabling external sellers to enable the same features and functionality but need guidance building out the right user experience. Here are three of our top customization recommendations – straight off the design phase:
1. Mirror points of entry – If the customer will be logging in off a link from your brand’s website, why not make the look and feel consistent? Ask your marketing team for your website font, colors, and a representative voice on your stakeholder group for the Community project.

2. Bring-Your-Own….”Content” – Designing a community with some of the pre-built themes can be a quick way to market, but your content is the heart and soul of the site. Interview key stakeholders across the company and identify what areas need enrichment in their external customer experiences. These become guiding factors for project delivery teams. Graphics and well-written articles and instructions make the pages focused and useful.
3. Deliver in Mobile – Customers are far more likely to pull out their smartphone and engage with you than ever before. Salesforce has gone to great lengths to be mobile responsive in Community Cloud and has released point-and-click mobile layouts within Community Builder. Preview your pages and choose to hide right or left banner page sections that might not make sense to keep on smaller screen devices.

Community Cloud lets you bring the power of Salesforce to your customers too – enabling one consistent experience for every buyer and seller. Let the “Building” begin!
